The User Interface


1. My Sites: This is a menu of all the sites within the Wordpress instance that you have access to, with links to some of the main pages.

2. Website Name: The name of this menu is based on the website you are accessing the admin panel for. This links to the front-end of the website.

3. KC:Web Help: This is a link to the Khaos Control Web Support Site, and can be useful for getting help with different areas of the CMS.
NOTE: You can also access the support site by pressing the F1 key when logged into the CMS. This will usually take you to a page related to the CMS page you are on.

4. Dashboard: This will take you back to the main dashboard, which is the first page you see when logging in.

5. My Sites: This will take you to a page with a list of all the sites within the Wordpress instance that you have access to, with links to the front-end of the website and the admin panel.

6. Static Content: This will take you to a list of the static content setup on the website, and will allow you to add and/or edit items. This also has a sub-menu with links to the static content list, to add a new piece of Static Content, or to the Content Group list.

7. Comments: This will take you to a list of all of the comments left on your blog posts, and will allow you to approve, reject, delete, etc them.

8. Pages: This will take you to a list of the Pages setup on the website, and will allow you to add and/or edit items. This also has a sub-menu with links to the page list and to add a new page.

9. Email Templates: This is where you setup your email templates, such as order confirmation emails, which will be used by the website when generating an email.

10. Media: This will take you to the media library, where you can upload new images to be used in static content/pages and remove any images no longer needed.

11. Appearance: This will take you to the Themes screen, where you can choose which theme to use on the website, of those available. This also has a sub-menu with links to the Themes page, the Customise page, the Widgets page, and the Menus page.

12. Plugins: This will take you to the Plugins page, where you can activate/deactivate plugins. This is only available for Administrator level Users.

13. Users: This will take you to the Users page, where you can control the CMS user accounts for the website.

14. Tools: This will take you to the Redirection page, where you can setup URL redirects for the website.

15. KC:Web Settings: This will take you to the website config options, from the Khaos Control Web plugin. There is also a sub-menu with links to the config options page, the list of product reviews, and the XML sitemap page.

16. Settings: This will take you to the Wordpress settings page. This also has a sub-menu with links to other settings page, and some plugin settings pages.

17. SEO: This is the Yoast SEO plugin menu, and will take you to pages related to it.
NOTE: The KC:Web menu item has a notification number next to it if there are items that need to be actioned. This includes Product Reviews that haven't been approved and Questions that haven't been answered.
